This small privately owned safari company is located in Kasane at the entrance to Botswana's Chobe National Park - approximately a 50 minute drive across the border to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

The company has been fully operational for over 12 months and the majority of business comes from the Victoria Falls in the form of day trips into Chobe National Park. In addition, the company operates overland safaris through Chobe National Park and into the Okavango Delta.

VEHICLES:

  • 6 x Toyota Landcruisers, game viewing vehicles which seat ten clients per vehicle
  • 2 Single-axle overland trailers

BOATS:

  • 2 x Mega skimmers which seat sixteen clients per vessel, propelled by 40 HP & 50 HP motors

PROPERTY:

  • 1 x Industrial plot for offices and workshop, on the main road
  • 1 x Residential plot with two-bedroom house and storeroom overlooking the Chobe floodplains.
Both the above properties come with title deeds.

CONTRACTS:
Voyagers Jules Verne - this is a London-based company that sells packages to Victoria Falls and sends up to 200 clients per week to Safari Excellence for day trips.

United Touring Company (UTC) is Africa's largest wholesale agent that concentrates more on the conference and incentive market. This company has contracts with some of the world's largest travel organisations such as Adventures Abroad, Globus Tours and Grand Circle Travel, all of whom utilise the services of the safari company when they visit Botswana. Please note that there are approximately thirty travel agents at Victoria Falls who all send clients to this safari company for day trips and overland safaris.

Both Voyagers Jules Verne and United Touring Company have advised the company that bookings for 1998 are nearly double from last year's and their projected figures over the next few years are increasing every year.

The company has been a registered safari company in Botswana since 26 May 1994. The business holds a Tourism Enterprise Licence and all its guides hold Professional Guide Licences.
